Adrien Vogt-Schilb
Adrien Vogt-Schilb is a senior economist at the Inter-American Development Bank’s Climate change division. Adrien's work focuses on the design of effective and politically acceptable decarbonization strategies. This means aligning climate policies with local development goals and the long-term decarbonization imperative and managing political economy issues in the transition to net-zero – including labor, social and fiscal impacts. Adrien also works on quantifying the effect of policies that build socio-economic resilience to natural disasters and climate change, and on methods to facilitate the co-construction of public policies with a variety of stakeholders and objectives. Adrien is a trained engineer, holds a PhD in economics and is the author of 4 books and 30 academic papers on the topic of climate change and development. He tweets @vogt_schilb
