Cristina Nolasco
Cris leads the connections strategy at IDB Lab - working on new ways to bring together startups, investors, accelerators, creative talent & ecosystem actors to scale innovative solutions for development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her experience working with tech startups and in the international public sector fed her passion to connect public and private ecosystems. From IDB Lab, she coordinates the network Moonshots for Development, a group that facilitates collaborations between innovation labs of Development Finance Institutions. From 2016-2019 she led the yearly startup competition of Demand Solutions, an IDB flagship platform to highlight disruptive solutions to improve lives in the region. She's also an avid supporter of platforms working to elevate women’s collective power for change.
