Michaela Seelig
Michaela Seelig is a senior climate change and sustainability specialist at the IDB, working with green concessional funds and driving innovative financial projects and mechanisms for climate and nature. Previously, Michaela worked at the Ministry of Climate Action in Austria as Director of Sustainable Finance, leading the design and implementation of the national agenda of greening the financial system, and at IDB Invest, collaborating with investment officers and clients to incentivize investments in climate change, ecosystem services and biodiversity. Her experience also includes international and European climate change and sustainable finance policies, the European Sustainable Finance Taxonomy and integrated sustainability management in a global manufacturing company.
