Gabriela Arteaga
Gabriela Arteaga is a consultant for Transportation Division of the IDB, she supports the incorporation of the cross-cutting theme of economic integration in transportation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. At the IDB she has developed a long experience in supporting regional transport and energy infrastructure initiatives and has carried out research activities. Previously she worked for the Ministry of Finance of Nicaragua on matters of international taxation, tax administration and fiscal policy; in addition, she has worked in the Academia as lecturer of Statistics and Public Policy. She has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from the Central American University of Nicaragua and an Advance Master's Degree in International and Development Economics from Université Catholique de Louvain.
