Scarleth Nuñez is a climate change specialist with more than 12 years of experience in the area of sustainable development working with multilateral agencies and public and private sector institutions. Her work focuses on supporting the coordination of the NDC INVEST platform and providing support to the countries of the Region in the implementation of the Paris Agreement, mainly on issues related to the NDCs. Previously, Scarleth worked as a program advisor for the Nordic Development Fund and the Inter-American Development Bank at Honduras' office supporting the design and implementation of mitigation and adaptation projects aimed at strengthening the capacities in vulnerable communities in rural and urban areas in America. Central. In the past, Scarleth worked in the renewable energy sector as an environmental and social coordinator on wind and hydro projects. Scarleth is an Environmental Engineer from the Catholic University of Honduras and holds a Master in Climate Change, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex and a Master’s in project management from the Central American Technological University (UNITEC).
