Laura Romero
Laura is a Social Specialist working at the Environmental and Social Solutions Unit ESG of the Inter-American Development Bank. With a background in law and public policy, Laura currently focuses on the assessment and management of social risks and impacts resulting from development projects executed by public sector agencies. Her experience includes the design and implementation of corporate policies, management systems, grievance mechanisms and stakeholder engagement strategies to address social and human rights impacts of private sector operations, as well as investigative work at independent accountability mechanisms to assess ESG impacts and corporate performance and provide recommendations on required remedial action plans.
