Digital credentials, also known as digital badges, are digital visual representations to recognize skills and achievements acquired inside or outside the classroom, they can be placed on a website and are linked to the issuer of the badge, the evaluation criteria and the achievement tests. Users are also able to display their credentials easily using social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook and personal blogs.
