Jason Anthony Hobbs é planejador urbano e especialista operacional com mais de 17 anos de experiência trabalhando em temas de desenvolvimento sustentável na região da América Latina e Caribe. Como Especialista Sênior em Habitação e Desenvolvimento Urbano do BID, ele aconselha formuladores de políticas e líderes municipais em questões urbanas relacionadas a infraestrutura, mobilidade, reabilitação, modernização, regeneração e espaços públicos. Ingressou no BID por meio do Programa de Jovens Profissionais (YPP). Antes de ingressar no BID, ele trabalhou para o Banco Mundial, organizações sem fins lucrativos e o setor público no desenho e implementação de operações, iniciativas de monitoramento e avaliação e fornecimento de apoio técnico e operacional para projetos, estratégias de assistência ao país e diálogo sobre políticas. Defensor da criação de lugares e de cidades em escala humana, ele é fluente em português, espanhol e inglês. Ele possui um mestrado em Desenvolvimento Internacional Sustentável pela Escola Heller de Política e Gestão Social da Universidade de Brandeis, e é bacharel em Ciência Política pela Universidade de Maryland.
