Hallel Elnir

Consultor en la División de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo. Hallel brinda apoyo en el desarrollo de las operaciones de ciudades inteligentes en la región de ALC. Ha trabajado como gerente de proyectos y planificador urbano para AVIV AMCG Management & Consulting, brindando asesoría en planificación estratégica, ejecución e implementación de proyectos, así como en el apoyo a planes maestros de ciudades. Durante más de 3 años, trabajó para GL Urban Systems Planning como planificador urbano, preparando propuestas de políticas para ciudades y consejos locales. Hallel también dirigió un proyecto de desarrollo comunitario y rehabilitación ambiental con comunidades indígenas en Ecuador. Tiene un excelente conocimiento de los sistemas de información geográfica (GIS) y la herramienta ArcGIS. Hallel tiene una maestría en Desarrollo Internacional y Planificación Urbana de la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén, Israel y una licenciatura en Ciencias Políticas y Geografía de la Universidad de Tel Aviv, Israel.

Hallel Elnir

Hallel Elnir is an urban planner, specializing in international development. In his current position, as a Smart City consultant in the Housing and Urban Development Division at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), he leverages innovative technologies to address urban challenges, develop and share knowledge, and create public-private partnerships in the LAC region. Previously Hallel worked in the private sector in Israel, providing advice on strategic planning, execution, and implementation of urban projects, as well as supporting cities’ master plans. Hallel holds a master’s degree in International Development & Urban Planning from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Geography from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
