Anri Hiramatsu currently works as an Environmental and Social Development Analyst in the Environmental, Social, and Governance Department at International Finance Corporation (IFC). She evaluates and supervises clients in the implementation of performance standards and international best practices in agribusiness, infrastructure, manufacturing, and services projects in Latin America. Anri has 10 years of experience as an international development professional with Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) where she implemented projects of urban infrastructure (energy, water and sanitation and transportation) and led knowledge production on gender equality and inclusion topics. She holds a BA in Latin American Regional Studies from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and MA in Anthropology from American University.
