Amina Mendez Acosta
Amina Mendez Acosta is a research consultant at the Center for Global Development. Before joining CGD, she worked as a consultant for IFC’s Financial Institutions Group, as a research consultant for Precision Agriculture for Development, and as a program manager for ASKI, a microfinance organization based in the Philippines. Her research interests include education, gender and health, financial inclusion, and social entrepreneurship. She has supported research work in India, West Africa and the Philippines. Acosta earned an MA in Global Human Development from Georgetown University and a BA in Mathematics from Ohio Wesleyan University. She is originally from Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
