Naiara works as a Gender and Diversity Mainstreaming Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank's Gender and Diversity Division in Washington, D.C since 2020. Prior to her current role, she worked for development institutions in Washington, D.C. from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, she relocated to Colombia to further her career in this field, and, in December of that year, she founded WAT Partners (Women Access To Partners), a social entrepreneurship venture. She is a professional with over 10 years of expertise in gender and diversity within international development. Naiara holds a bachelor's degree in economics, an MBA in International Business and Multilateral Projects Management, and has completed postgraduate studies at the Graduate Institute of Geneva, earning an Executive Master's degree in Development Policies and Practices (DPP).
