Florencia Savoca Truzzo
Florencia is a consultant at the Gender and Diversity Division at the IDB, focusing on designing, implementing, and monitoring projects to promote gender equality in health and social protection, combat GBV, and advance the social inclusion of LGBTQ+ persons. She has over a decade of experience leading transformative initiatives to advance gender equality, diversity, and social inclusion. Before joining the IDB, she was a VAWG researcher for the Global Women's Institute at George Washington University and a strategic advisor consultant for gender inclusion at the World Bank, with working experience across Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. In Argentina, she held various positions at different levels of the Argentine government as a project manager for social program improvement and upscaling. Florencia has a degree in Economics and a master's in International Affairs.
