Amílcar Peter Sanatan es artista, académico y activista. Candidato a doctor en Estudios Culturales en la Universidad de West Indies, Campus St. Augustine. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen hombres y masculinidades en el Caribe y América Latina, desarrollo de jóvenes y estudiantes y geografía cultural. Sanatan es el representante de Trinidad y Tobago para la Asociación de Estudiantes del Commonwealth y coordinador de la Conferencia de Estudiantes Socialistas de la UWI. También es miembro del comité directivo del Foro Global de Estudiantes y lidera las carteras de Derechos Humanos y Solidaridad, COVID-19 y Justicia Racial.
