María de la Paz Ferro is a consultant for early childhood issues in the Social Protection and Health Division of the Inter-American Development Bank. Her work focuses on evaluating child care service programs and measuring the quality of these services. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the Center for Economic Development Studies (CEDE), of the Faculty of Economics, at the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. She has a master's degree in economics from the same university.
