Lauren Pisani

Lauren Pisani

Lauren Pisani is an international early childhood development expert, with a specialization in assessment and equity. Lauren has led research and evaluation of early learning and development programs in low- and middle-income countries around the world. She was instrumental in creating the International Development and Early Learning Assessment (IDELA), as well as managing resources and thought leadership related to the tool. Lauren is Co-Chair of the ECD Specialist Interest Group for the Comparative International Education Society, and has served as a technical expert for working groups such as the Inter-agency Expert Group on ECD Measurement for SDG 4.2.1. Lauren holds a Master’s Degree in Education Policy from Stanford University, as well as a Ph.D. from the Institute of Education at UCL.
