How to sign up for newsletters with the latest from Abierto al Público?

Thank you for your interest in subscribing to Abierto al Público emails!

Our commitment to our subscribers is to provide relevant, actionable, and timely information on open knowledge. By subscribing to this newsletter, you’ll receive regular emails from our blog and may also receive other information from the Inter-American Development Bank not specifically from our blog, which are equally relevant to the open knowledge universe and can benefit you.

How to Subscribe: Step by Step

1.- Visit the Inter-American Development Bank Subscription Preference Center page and provide your email address.

2.- Once you have provided your email, please wait a few minutes for an email granting access to your subscription preferences. Check your inbox or spam/junk folder for an email from the address “[email protected]” with one of the following subject lines:

  • Confirm your interest in IDB communications
  • Confirma tu interés en los correos del BID

3.- Then, click the button ”confirm” in the email to take you to a form where you will provide the requested information highlighted in red:

Please take note of the IDB Privacy Policy.

4.- After providing the necessary information, proceed to the next page titled “MANAGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS,” where you can select your areas of interest. To subscribe to “Abierto al Público” emails, scroll down until you find the “OPEN KNOWLEDGE” heading and click the + symbol.

5.- A window will appear asking you to select your preferred subtopics. Our suggestion is to select all 4 available subtopics as they are all relevant to the content of “Abierto al Público“. Once you’ve made your selection, click the blue “Close” button.

6.- Closing the window will return you to the “MANAGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS” page, where you should scroll down to the bottom and click the blue “NEXT” button.

7.- On the Next page, choose the type of information you want to receive. The “Abierto al Público” blog covers databases, annual reports, courses, publications, news, and open-source code, so we recommend selecting the knowledge products marked in the following image, then clicking the blue “SAVE” button.

8.- Finally, a thank-you message will appear confirming that you’re subscribed to the blog. Well done!
