Hyuna Lee is a consultant for the Housing and Urban Development Division at IDB since 2017. She mainly designs and implements technical cooperation projects and pilot projects on the topic of housing and land development policy as a member of the Cities LAB, a platform of the Division with the objective of improving urban areas in Latin America and the Caribbean. She previously worked for Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements, leading national land development research institution, NGOs and consulting firms in Korea. She used to be a researcher and a project officer with expertise in international development cooperation, policy consulting, and research on sustainable urban development and housing in developing countries. She holds a Master’s degree in international development studies and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Spanish at Kyung Hee University, Korea.
