Agustina Calatayud

Agustina Calatayud es Especialista Líder de Transporte en la División de Transporte del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID). Su trabajo en el BID se focaliza en la investigación aplicada, la estructuración de préstamos de inversión y la provisión de asesoramiento técnico para mejorar los sistemas de transporte en ALC. Agustina lidera el área de investigación y tecnología en transporte y logística del BID. Antes de unirse a esta institución en 2010, trabajó en las áreas de planificación del transporte y desarrollo del sector privado en organismos internacionales (Comisión Europea, Organización Internacional del Trabajo y Naciones Unidas), el sector público (Alcaldía de Turín, Italia) y el sector privado. Agustina posee un Doctorado en Ingeniería Mecánica y de Sistemas por la Universidad de Newcastle, Reino Unido, y dos Maestrías por la Universidad de California, Berkeley y la Universidad de Padua, Italia. Sus investigaciones en logística y transporte marítimo han recibido premios internacionales del UK Charter Institute from Transport and Logistics, Emerald Publishing y la Asociación Europea de Logística, así como también han sido publicadas por revistas científicas, organismos internacionales y academia.
