Ricardo Pérez Cuevas
Ricardo Pérez Cuevas is a Senior Specialist in the IDB’s Social Protection and Health Division, where he works on projects on health policies and systems in Latin America and the Caribbean. He previously served as director of the Center for Health System Research (Centro de Investigación en Sistemas de Salud) at the National Public Health Institute (Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública) in Mexico, where he earned a Doctorate in Public Health. He has a Master’s in International Health from Johns Hopkins University.
Diana Pinto is a Lead Specialist in the IDB’s Social Protection and Health Division, where she works on projects to strengthen the public health sector. She previously worked as an advisor for Colombia’s Ministry of Health and as a professor and researcher in applied health economics at the Universidad Javeriana and the Center for Economic and Social Research (Centro de Investigación Económica y Social – Fedesarrollo) in Colombia. She has a Doctorate in Population and International Health from Harvard University.
Luis Tejerina is a Lead Specialist in the IDB’s Social Protection and Health Division, where he works on projects on conditional cash transfers and more efficient and effective use of technology. He has a Master’s in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Ferdinando Regalia is Chief of the IDB’s Social Protection and Health Division, where he leads the preparation of key loan operations and technical assistance projects in social protection and comprehensive analytical studies in the areas of poverty and social protection. He has a Doctorate and a Master’s in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain.
