Luis Miguel Galindo is currently working at the postgraduate department in Economics at the Faculty of Economics at UNAM. His current research interests are the economics of climate change, energy economics, green taxes, consumption patterns and monetary and financial economics. Prior to that, he was chief of climate change in the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). He has also worked with several international organizations such as United Nations, Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank, Central Banks and some private consultancies. Previously, he has also been the coordinator of the Mexican study on the Economics of Climate Change.
