Fernando Navajas es economista jefe de FIEL, Argentina y catedrático de economía de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Es ex vicepresidente de la Academia Nacional de Ciencias Económicas de Argentina y ex presidente de la Asociación Argentina de Economía Política. Anteriormente fue economista senior de la CEPAL de la ONU y jefe de gabinete de asesores del Ministerio de Economía de Argentina. Tiene una larga experiencia como consultor del BID. Tiene un doctorado en economía de la Universidad de Oxford y una licenciatura de la Universidad de La Plata, donde también fue profesor en el departamento de economía.
Fernando Navajas
Fernando Navajas is chief economist at FIEL, Argentina and chair professor of economics at the University of Buenos Aires. He is past vice president of the National Academy of Economic Science of Argentina and former president of the Argentine Association of Political Economy. Previously he was senior economist at UN ECLAC and chief of cabinet of advisors at the Ministry of the Economy in Argentina. He has a long experience as consultant for the IDB. He holds a Ph.D in economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc from the University of La Plata, where he was also professor at the department of economics.
