Fernando Navajas
Fernando Navajas is chief economist at FIEL, Argentina and professor of economics at the University of Buenos Aires. He is currently vice president of the National Academy of Economic Science of Argentina and former president of the Argentine Association of Political Economy. Previously he was senior economist at UN ECLAC and chief of cabinet of advisors at the Ministry of the Economy in Argentina. He has a long experience as consultant for the IDB. He holds a Ph.D in economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc from the University of La Plata, were he was also professor at the department of economics.
