Gustavo A. Sánchez is an economist and M.A. in Economics and Economics of Public Policies from the Universidad del Rosario. He is currently a consultant for the Fiscal Management Division of the IDB and at the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) supporting the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (MFPC) of Colombia. He has worked in the General Directorate of Macroeconomic Policies of the MFPC and the Universidad del Rosario as a young researcher at the Faculty of Economics. His areas of expertise are macroeconomics, public finances, applied econometrics, and machine learning. He has participated in the publication of the 2018 Medium-Term Fiscal Framework of Colombia, contributing to the analysis of the country's labor market and business cycle, and Latin America's economic perspectives.
