Diana Rubio is a Technology teacher at the Centro de Bachillerato Tecnológico Industrial y de Servicios (CBTIS) N° 118 'Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez', in Corregidora, Querétaro, Mexico. In 2020, he won the 'Premio Extraordinario al Maestro: Premio Nacional de Maestros Mexico', promoted by the STEAM Movement organization which was created in 2017 to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in the country. One of her biggest passions is how to influence more girls and women to choose STEM careers. With her background in research, she uses inquiry methodology, along with active learning techniques based on problem-solving with a STEM focus, to push girls to pursue a scientific career.
