Mónica Rubio

Mónica Rubio is Regional Social Policy Advisor for Latin America and the Caribbean at UNICEF. Former Minister of Social Development and Inclusion in Peru, she has also worked as an international consultant and economist in social protection at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She holds a degree in economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She holds a master's degree in economics and a PhD in economics with a specialization in public finance and international development from Duke University.
