Martha Fernández is Investment Officer at IDB Invest, and is focused on promoting the sustainable development of Latin America and the Caribbean through the structuring and implementation of financial solutions for corporate clients in the manufacturing sector in Mexico. Prior to joining IDB Invest, she developed her career in investment banking where she has more than ten years of experience, holding positions, mainly in the BBVA group, in different areas, including syndicated loans, mergers and acquisitions, and strategy in Mexico City, Madrid and Hong Kong. Martha has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid, Spain.
