El Sr. Scriven es el gerente general de BID Invest, la institución del sector privado del Grupo Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), con una cartera de US$12.100 millones en activos bajo administración y 330 clientes en 22 países. BID Invest es un banco multilateral de desarrollo centrado en atender a sus clientes y en lograr los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas en América Latina y el Caribe. El Sr. Scriven, ciudadano de doble nacionalidad argentina y británica, fue vicepresidente de riesgo corporativo y sostenibilidad de la Corporación Financiera Internacional (IFC, por sus siglas en inglés), donde ocupó varias posiciones de liderazgo. Antes de unirse a la IFC, el Sr. Scriven fue director financiero del Banco Hipotecario en Argentina. Durante las últimas dos décadas ha concentrado sus esfuerzos en la promoción del rol del sector privado en el desarrollo.
