Es Doctora en Ciencia y Tecnología Ambiental por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Lourdes tiene más de 15 años de experiencia en el sector ambiental tanto en España como en varios países de América Latina, especializando su trabajo en temas de evaluación de programas. En la actualidad trabaja como consultora senior para el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo en la División de Agua Potable y Saneamiento, colaborando en el diseño y evaluación de programas en toda región, y apoyando varias iniciativas de conocimiento.
