Paola García is a consultant providing social support for IDB operations in Bolivia. She is a socio-environmental specialist, with extensive experience in water and sanitation projects in the public and private sectors. She has a degree in Social Work from Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in Bolivia, as well as graduate studies in Environmental Management, Conflict Resolution, Community Management, Sustainability and Indigenous Peoples' Rights. She is the author of several books and articles related to social development and intercultural projects. She is also a university professor in the subjects of Social Management and Group Methodology.
