María Claudia Perazza
Maria Claudia Perazza, has been with the IDB since 1995, where she has worked as Senior Environmental and Natural Resources Specialist in the Environment and Natural Resources Management. Claudia Perazza has led Environmental Assessment and Management for investment and sector projects around Latin America and the Caribbean in the areas of infrastructure, sanitation, agriculture, sustainable regional development and tourism, and has led projects in natural resources management, capacity building and sustainable tourism. She has also worked for the BIO program. Mrs. Perazza holds a MS in Biological Oceanography from São Paulo University, Brazil, and a Post-Graduate Degree in Environmental Science and Technology from the International Institute of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at Delft, Holland. Her previous work assignments include serving as Senior Advisor to the Environmental Planning Department at the São Paulo State Environmental Secretariat in São Paulo, Brazil.
