Juan José is a consultant for the Agrimonitor initiative of the IDB, in which he conducts analysis of the region’s agricultural policies. Before joining the IDB, he collaborated in the design of policies to promote food security, combat malnutrition, and achieve rural territorial development in Ecuador. Juan José has a Master's Degree in Rural Development from Universiteit Gent, Belgium.
