Hilen Meirovich
Hilen Meirovich is the Director of Climate Change at IDB Invest in Washington, D.C. An Argentinean national, Hilen has solid experience working with public sector actors in the promotion and consolidation of climate policies and strategies, as well as in the use of international climate change funds that can attract private investment in Latin America and the Caribbean.
He received the Antonio Ortiz Mena award in recognition of the most innovative loan for an operation that combined climate adaptation and fiscal measures to offset the impact of climate change in Central America. Prior to working at IDB Invest, she had served as a climate policy expert at the IDB. She holds a master's degree from the Hebrew University. She also holds a master's degree and a PhD from Georgetown University.
