Mario Saeteros is an Economic Research Consultant at the Integration and Trade Sector at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has experience in international trade, regional integration, global value chains, impact assessments of trade agreements, and natural resources and environment. Prior to joining the IDB, he worked for the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN-ECLAC) and the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI). He holds a master's degree in economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Chile) and a bachelor's degree in economics from the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (Ecuador).
