Manuela worked as a consultant at the Integration and Trade Sector at the IDB in Washington, D.C. For three years, she led ConnectAmericas capacity-building programs for SMEs, which supported more than 59,000 business owners to adapt their processes to the new context after the COVID-19 outbreak. She also co-led the design and execution of several ConnectAmericas for Women programs, including the recently launched “Women Growing Together in the Americas,” a technical assistance initiative to increase the participation of women-owned businesses in value chains. Manuela obtained a degree in International Business from EAFIT University, in Medellín, Colombia.
