Elena Fernández Ortiz is a Consultant at the Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank. She is currently focusing on topics related to trade and foreign direct investment. Before joining the IDB, Elena worked in the Department of Macro-Financial Analysis and Monetary Policy at the Banco de España, the Social Policies Research Unit at EUROFOUND, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
