José Martinez Carrasco
José Martinez Carrasco joined the Strategy Development Division (SPD/SDV) at the Inter-American Development Bank as an impact evaluation consultant in June 2018. In that position, he has worked with multiple loans’ teams to prepare robust evaluation plans that assess the effectiveness of cutting-edge public policies. He is an applied microeconomist with a special interest in development economics. His research interests are complemented by his professional background at the Peruvian Ministry of Economics and Finance where he worked from 2008-2010. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University (2018) and a Master of Research degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona (2013).
