Carlos B. Echeverria E.
Carlos B. Echeverría E. is a Senior Energy Specialist, Energy Division at the Inter-American Development Bank. Electromechanical Engineer with a master’s degree in Energy and Environment from Universidad de Cadiz, and a master’s degree in Alternative Energy Management from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. Carlos joined the IDB in 2010 and has worked both at the Bank's headquarters in Washington D.C., as well as leading the Energy Division's portfolios in Guyana, Suriname, Ecuador and Barbados. He is currently in charge of managing the portfolio of the Energy Division in Barbados. Before joining the Bank, Carlos worked as General Director of Energy at the Ministry of Energy and Mines in Guatemala.
