Ariel Fiszbein

Ariel Fiszbein holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California (Berkeley) and is the director of the Inter-American Dialogue's Education program. Previously, he worked at the World Bank, where he served as Coordinator of the World Bank Institute's Poverty Reduction Team, Coordinator of the Human Development Program for the Latin American Southern Cone countries, Lead Economist in the Human Development Department for Latin America and the Caribbean, Advisor to the Chief Economist, Senior Vice President of Development Economics and Coordinator of the Impact Evaluation Initiative (DIME) and Chief Economist of the World Bank's Human Development Network.
