Nerys Gaitán
Nerys Gaitan Miranda joined the IDB in December 2014 to work on the Emerging and Sustainable Cities Program in the representation of Panama. He is an environmental engineer graduated from the Technological University of Panama with a master's degree in Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Environmental and Safety) at the University of Barcelona, Spain. Previously, he worked on issues of mobility and mass transportation in Panama City. He has done internships in environmental partner issues in the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) and has developed waste management studies for the City of Knowledge Foundation (FCDS). She is passionate about urban environmental dynamics.
