Fernanda Balbino
Fernanda Balbino is a Consultant for the IDB's Cities Network for sustainable urban development in Latin America and the Caribbean, part of the Bank's Housing and Urban Development Division. Her work also focuses on the sustainable development of urban territories in the Amazon, strengthening the capacities of local governments, and regional and multi-level coordination. Fernanda holds a Master's degree in Social Policy and Development with a focus on urban issues from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of São Paulo, an Executive Certificate in Gender and Development from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and a certificate in Public Affairs from Sciences-Po Paris. She was the Director of Partnerships at the Public Innovation Laboratory of the São Paulo City Hall and has worked in international organizations and NGOs, mainly on issues of sustainable urban development and gender mainstreaming.
