Carlos Escobar
Carlos is an urban designer with an emphasis on improving precarious neighborhoods and sustainable development. He has more than fourteen years of experience, providing advice and technical support to governments and subnational, national, and international organizations in Latin American and Caribbean countries such as Mexico, Honduras, Martinique, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Carlos is an architect from the National University of Colombia and has a postgraduate degree in Urban Design from the same university. Currently, he worked as a consultant for the Housing and Urban Development Division, belonging to the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Sector, supporting the implementation of the urban agenda of the Inter-American Development Bank, mainly in Mexico.
