James P. Scriven

El Sr. Scriven es el gerente general de BID Invest, la institución del sector privado del Grupo Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), con una cartera de US$12.100 millones en activos bajo administración y 330 clientes en 22 países. BID Invest es un banco multilateral de desarrollo centrado en atender a sus clientes y en lograr los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas en América Latina y el Caribe.

El Sr. Scriven, ciudadano de doble nacionalidad argentina y británica, fue vicepresidente de riesgo corporativo y sostenibilidad de la Corporación Financiera Internacional (IFC, por sus siglas en inglés), donde ocupó varias posiciones de liderazgo. Antes de unirse a la IFC, el Sr. Scriven fue director financiero del Banco Hipotecario en Argentina. Durante las últimas dos décadas ha concentrado sus esfuerzos en la promoción del rol del sector privado en el desarrollo.

El Sr. Scriven tiene una maestría en finanzas de la Universidad del Centro de Estudios Macroeconómicos de Argentina y un título en administración de empresas de la Universidad Católica de Argentina.
