Guillermo Foscarini

Guillermo lidera el equipo de agronegocios en BID Invest. Se incorporó a la institución en 2019, y tiene como responsabilidad la estrategia, el plan de negocios, la gestión de clientes y la estructuración de transacciones del sector en América Latina y el Caribe.

Antes de ingresar al Grupo BID trabajó en la Corporación Financiera Internacional (IFC por sus siglas en inglés) durante casi 17 años, ocupando cargos de banca de desarrollo e inversión en su cargo de oficial de inversión principal en el Departamento de Manufactura, Agronegocios y Servicios y en el de Inversiones & Crédito. Durante su periodo en la IFC, Guillermo originó, estructuró y supervisó múltiples transacciones de finanzas corporativas, como también inversiones de capital y cuasi-capital a lo largo de la cadena de valor de agroindustria en África, Asia y América Latina.

Guillermo posee una maestría en administración de empresas (MBA) de la Universidad del CEMA en Argentina, una maestría en manejo de riesgos de la Universidad de Nueva York en Estados Unidos y tiene un título de pregrado como contador público por la Universidad Católica de Córdoba en Argentina.
