Luiz Gabriel Azevedo

Luiz Gabriel Azevedo es jefe de la División de Asuntos Ambientales, Sociales y de Gobernanza de BID Invest. Durante sus más de 25 años de trayectoria profesional ha trabajado para empresas de construcción y se ha desempeñado como director de la International Water Resources Association (IWRA) y como director, vicepresidente y presidente de la Asociación Brasilera de Recursos Hídricos (ABRH).
Previamente, Luiz Gabriel trabajó por 14 años en el Banco Mundial liderando programas de desarrollo en América Latina, Europa, Asia Central y África. Luiz Gabriel es ingeniero civil de la Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), y magíster y doctor en ingeniería, especializado en hidrología y gestión de recursos hídricos por Colorado State University.
