Diego Flaiban es jefe de instituciones financieras para el cono sur en BID Invest, habiendo pasado más de una década en el Grupo BID. Fue consultor senior en Deloitte y ha trabajado en BNP Paribas y en Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. Diego impulsó la primera garantía de riesgo compartido en América Latina y el Caribe para estimular las inversiones ecológicas en Colombia. Asimismo, lideró la garantía parcial de crédito insignia de la región para la oferta pública de bonos corporativos y trabajó asociado con intermediarios financieros para promover la sostenibilidad, préstamos en moneda local y sindicaciones. Ha sido responsable de más de US$1 mil millones en financiamiento y asistencia técnica. Tiene un posgrado en administración de negocios internacionales por Georgetown University y un título de contador por la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
