Dr. Tatiana Schor
Dr. Schor currently serves as the Chief of the Amazonia Coordination Unit of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington D.C., USA, and leads the regional coordination program Amazonia Forever. Dr. Schor is a tenured associate professor at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) in Brazil, in the Department of Geography, where she worked on natural resource market structures and urbanization in Amazonia. Her previous roles include Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTI) of the State of Amazonas, Coordinator of the Amazonas State Center for Conservation Units, and Deputy Secretary of State for Rural Production Planning. Dr. Schor holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences, a master's degree in human Geography, and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of São Paulo.
