Juan Martinez
Juan Martínez is a Lead Social Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank, where he is leading issues related to social risks for indigenous peoples, land acquisition, physical and economic displacement, and stakeholder engagement of the Environmental and Social Policy Framework (ESPF) in the Bank's Environmental and Social Solutions Unit. Before joining the IDB, he was, for over 20 years, a senior social development specialist at the World Bank, where he worked for multiple regions around the world in areas of Social Development, Inclusion of Indigenous Peoples, Land and Natural Resources Management, specially community forestry, including land acquisition issues.
