Silvana is a geologist with an MSc in Geological Sciences. She is pursuing a PhD in Geography with an emphasis on Climate Sciences and Climate Change. Throughout her academic and professional career, Silvana has specialized in the use of geospatial data to study geohazards, and the impact associated with hydro-meteorological variables. Her passion for data analysis and the application of statistical methods drives her to develop research that enhances understanding and supports the design of effective risk reduction strategies. She is currently serving as an intern in the Environmental and Social Solutions Division at the Inter-American Development Bank.
