Rosaly Byrd

Rosaly Byrd is a research associate at the UNDP World Centre for Sustainable Development (RIO+ Centre) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She previously worked as an environmental consultant for the IDB in Haiti, where some of her responsibilities included working to expand the profile of agricultural projects in the country and supporting environmental impact assessments and management plans. She acts as a regular contributor to the Huffington Post, writing blog posts on various environmental issues. Rosaly received her Master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, focusing specifically on international environmental policy.
