Carlos Hinojosa
Carlos Hinojosa is a partner at Technopolis Group. He specializes in the analysis and evaluation of science technology and innovation policy. Through this policy prism, he has developed specific expertise in the field of green and environmental innovation. He has provided policy advice and support to a number of public sector institutions including the Interamerican Development Bank, the World Bank, UNESCO, the French Devleopment Agency and the European Commission. In 2013 he worked as a consultant at the innovation, technology and entrepreneurship practice of the World Bank. Before joining Technopolis, he worked for the OECD’s Local Economic and Employment Development Programme in Paris and Italy. During this time, he studied the effects of climate change on local labour markets. Carlos obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the Universidad de las Américas-Puebla in Mexico, and went on to obtain a M.A. in urban and regional development policy from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris.
